It’s that time of year again! Everyone is doing their best to get bikini ready and trying to trim down for that perfect graduation dress. One of the best tips to follow to lose weight is implementing healthier eating habits into your every day diet. Healthy eating can be plain and sometimes not taste the best, but with these fun and healthy recipes listed below, eating healthy will become so fun and simple!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

This yummy smoothie is not only healthy, but helps with those sweet cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • A couple ice cubes

Chipotle’s copycat Vinaigrette dressing

Do you love Chipotle, but can’t make the greatest salads at home? Well now you can with this copycat salad dressing recipe that tastes just like Chipotle’s vinaigrette. Having a great tasting salad dressing on hand can spice up any boring romaine salad and make eating healthy that much better!

Ingredients: (Mix all ingredients together in a blender)

  • 6 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 2 small garlic cloves, roughly chopped

 

Banana Ice Cream

One healthy alternative to regular ice cream is banana ice cream. There is no added sugar or fat to this delicious treat, as the main ingredient is bananas. You can mix and match and have fun with different flavors by adding whatever you want to the mix. Here are a few two step ingredients for the different ice cream flavors.

 

Chocolate Ice Cream:                      Strawberry Ice Cream:           Vanilla Ice Cream:

                                                           

2 frozen bananas                               Fresh Strawberries                  2 tsp vanilla extract

Cacao powder                                    2 frozen bananas                     2 frozen bananas

 

 

 

Healthy stir fry meal prep

Meal prepping for the week can be very time consuming and eating it can get repetitive and boring. With this healthy version of an awesome stir fry meal, your meal prep meals will never get boring.

Ingredients: (Mix all ingredients together in a frying pan)

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green or yellow bell pepper
  • 1 half of a zucchini
  • Few pinches of garlic powder, or 1 clove of fresh garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Spinach is optional
