Next Tuesday, October the 11th, our local Patagonia store will be holding an event to help promote the importance of saving our planet by banning plastic bags. “Research shows there will be more plastic than fish in our oceans by 2050 unless we intervene.” The event will last four hours and feature lots of local organizations like City Surf Project and 5 Gyres. Below is a copy of the itinerary so feel free to stop by for free beer, snacks and to learn about how to help our planet!
4pm-6pm – In-store screen printing of canvas bags and T’s
5pm-7pm – Tabling of non-profits, Surfrider, 5 Gyres, City Surf Project
6pm-7:45pm – Screening of film shorts/social
7:45pm-8:30pm – Panel Q & A
