It’s finally the most wonderful time of the year!

To kick off December and the holidays, here are three DIY drinks that will get you into the holiday spirit.

White Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Pure vanilla extract

  • White chocolate chips

  • Milk

It wouldn’t be the holidays without hot chocolate! This Pinterest recipe puts a spin on your favorite holiday drink. Plus, it’s vegetarian and gluten free.

Peppermint Eggnog Milkshake

Ingredients

  • Ice cream (vanilla, eggnog, or peppermint)

  • Commercially prepared eggnog

  • Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips

  • Peppermint extract (optional)

  • Candy canes (crushed)

If you’re not a fan of plain eggnog, try adding peppermint and your favorite flavor of ice cream to this  milkshake! The best part of this recipe (other than the peppermint) is that it only takes 3 minutes to prepare!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • Apple juice, pure unsweetened

  • Orange juice, pure unsweetened

  • Cranberry juice, unsweetened

  • Sugar, stevia, honey, or other sweetener

  • 3 cinnamon sticks

  • Ground cloves

If you have nothing to do on a Saturday, try making this holiday drink! It’s ideal for any winter holiday. If you have any leftovers, this drink is refrigeratable and reheats perfectly.

The cook time is about three hours and serves about 10 cups.

Happy Holidays!
