Why did you join the cinema program?
Because I am absolutely thrilled by film studies and the art of filmmaking!
Film is such a fantastic medium of art for storytelling.
I aspire to work as an actor / filmmaker in the future.
What is your favorite hangout spot on campus?
Ahh! It is so hard to choose a single location!
The $1 book store in the library is awesome.
I also thoroughly appreciate the tiny little cafe squeezed into the HSS building.
I think my absolute favorite, though, is the Fine Arts building. Specifically the 4th floor.
It’s not necessarily an on and poppin’ hang out spot, but it’s lined with a lot of cool paintings that I’m assuming were done by SFSU students who graduated from the cinema department. The paintings are recreations of famous movie scenes!
What is your favorite hangout spot in San Francisco outside of SFSU?
Oh goodness…
I’m thinking Spike’s Coffees & Teas.
It is a cozy little cafe in The Castro.
They’re super dog friendly and they have a candy bar!
I found them on Yelp a few years back.
I’ve been purchasing my coffee grounds from there ever since B)

Do you have any pets?
I do not! Getting a puppy of my own is at the top of my list for post-university purchases, though. I dream of going to Japan in search of the hippest, most adorable Shiba Inu to bring back home with me.
If you could steal one thing without consequence, what would it be?
Probably that Shiba Inu I was just talking about hahahaha.
My first thought was an iMac. But a puppy would be more fun.

Bowling, a romantic dinner, staying in and watching The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon… I’m content as long as there are good vibes and lots of laughs.
Milkshakes and ferris wheels are ALWAYS a plus, though!

Bad attitudes, apathy.

Although I’d consider myself an optimist, I’d probably say half empty!
My OCD tendencies would have me itching to get that glass filled all the way.
