If you’ve found yourself in a long distance relationship this Valentine’s day you might be feeling a little left out of the mushy, love fest, but no matter how far away your loved one is there are always ways to make Valentine’s day special. Below are three ways to celebrate that don’t require you to be physically together but are still just as special.

Skype Dinner Date

A classic Valentine’s day date is getting dinner together, so why not enjoy a meal from the comfort of your own home. You can either agree on a meal to make or each make separate meals but cooking together and being able to sit down and talk over dinner is something easy that you both are sure to enjoy.

Care Package

Exchange care packages with him or her. Fill your package full of things they like, things that remind you of them or things you love. Once you’ve each received your gifts call one another up and talk about why you picked everything you did. It’s sure to bring back good memories and have you looking forward to all the good times that are still to come.

Movie Night

The only requirement for this one? You each have to have your own Netflix account. Google Chrome offers a few different extensions to let you and another person stream a movie or tv show at the same time. Pop some popcorn, grab a drink and settle in together. And don’t forget to also facetime them to make sure they aren’t falling asleep!
