If you have ever caught just a glimpse of a Jersey Shore episode, you know it is one of a kind to say the least. Some may even classify this reality television show that MTV gifted us, as a work of art. Lucky for us, the show is back! Mike the Situation, Ronnie, Vinny, DJ Pauly D, Snooki, JWoww, and Deena are members of the original guido and guidette cast that will be returning. The reunion show that is set 6 years after the last season aired, will be taking place in Miami, Florida and is called Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Fans are dusting off their crocodillies, grenade horns and bronzer with high hopes that the cast will bring back their crazy partying-selves to the new season.
In preparation for the gorilla juice heads to grace our television screens once again, let us take a look back at some of the best moments of the series.
1. Pauly and Vinny’s Bromance
At least one solid, drama-free relationship came out of the shore house—Pauly realized he found love at the Jersey shore the moment Vinny picked lint out of his famous gelled hair-do. True guido love.
2. When Snooki looks for the beach…while at the beach.
This is truly an iconic moment that Snooki will never live down. This incident led her to stumble on the beach, roll in the sand, and get arrested for public intoxication. How does the saying go…? “The best things are sometimes right in front of you; you just take some time to see it.”
3. Mike a wall, literally.
Mike takes his argument with Ronnie into his own hands, when he bashes his own head into a concrete wall in Italy. Perhaps “The Situation” created his own situation so he could avoid getting beat up by Ron. However, the pathetic scenes with his neck brace, sunglasses, and self-pity will forever be engrained in our minds.
4. Any Ron and Sam fight.
Ron, you were warned: never fall in love at the Jersey shore. There are no words to describe these infamous fights except “RAHN STAHP”.
5. The note.
This simple letter was written with good intentions and the Girl Code in mind, but took an unexpected turn and made this moment go down in history.
These throwback moments from the Jersey Shore really build up the anticipation for its return. It will definitely be interesting to see how this reunion show pans out after the cast has gone on to lead lives with children, spouses, and significant others.
