What Concerts Are We Looking Forward to This Summer?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rutgers chapter.

Now that the weather is *finally* warm enough to wear those cute summer outfits and school is basically over (for most of us), it’s time to plan those trips to see your fave musical acts, performers, and singers. Here are some concerts you should keep an eye out for:

1. Got7 – “Eyes on You” World Tour

This Korean Band, one of my favorites, was officially established in January of 2014. Ever since they have made their debut, the band has had a steady history of growth and success. The group consists of 7 members: Jackson, BamBam, Mark, JB, Junior, YoungJae, and Yugyeom. Some of their past ultimate hits are: “Just Right”, “If You Do”, and “A”. Listen to some of these songs before going to their concert and get excited to see them in action! They are all set to embark on their “Eyes on You” 2018 World Tour this summer. One of their stops is the Barclays Center in New York on June 11 at 8 p.m.

2. P!NK – “Beautiful Trauma” World Tour

P!NK, who is known to be not only an outstanding performer but genuinely good person, will be on tour this summer. The artist behind hits like “What About Us,” “So What,” and “Just Give Me a Reason” will be performing at Madison Square Garden in New York City on May 21st  at 7:30 p.m.

3. Harry Styles – Live On Tour

Harry Styles, one of the former members of One Direction, and the artist behind “Sign of the Times” will be performing at Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 22 at 8 p.m.

4. 5 Seconds of Summer

The group behind “Amnesia,” “Want You Back,” and “Youngblood” will be visiting the PNC Banks Art Center in New Jersey on their Meet You There tour in September, but in the meantime, they will be performing with other artists such as Shawn Mendes, Zedd, Dua Lipa, and Alessia Cara at WBLI Summer Jam 2018 in Wantagh, New York on June 15th at 5 p.m.

5. Britney Spears

Britney Spears, the icon behind your fave hits from the ’90s and the 00’s such as “Toxic,” “Oops! …I Did It Again,” and “…Baby One More Time,” will be performing at Radio City Music Hall in New York, New York on June 23rd and June 24th at 8 p.m.

Zeal is for zealousness and that's what I'm all about. I enjoy going to events around campus, socializing, and friday nights. I am a gemini and my personality reflects both the extremes - some days you will find me under my blanket and the other I'll be marching down all the streets of campus. Can't wait to write more articles and meet you all through HerCampus! :)
