Spring Break Survival Kit

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rutgers chapter.

This spring break, here at Her Campus Rutgers, Katelyn and Grace both tried out these innovative products! Here are their opinions.

TRESemme Shampoo and Conditioner:
Katelyn: If you have thin hair that gets weighed down with conditioner you should definitely try this! It left my hair feeling super soft and with more volume than I usually have with my normal shampoo and conditioner.
Grace: My hair is dyed, so I need specific conditioner for colored hair, but my hair did feel very smooth.

AZO Cranberry Gummies:
Katelyn: Not only do cranberries help prevent UTIs, they can also help with cramps! These tasty gummies are a great alternative to drinking cranberry juice and they can help you stay healthy!
Grace: The gummies actually don’t taste gross, I’d give it a 7/10. I usually love juice, but honestly not a fan of cranberry juice, so popping these gummies is so much quicker. They’re also shaped like berries!! Sorry I just really like cute-shaped things.

Brappz:
Katelyn: If you’re like me, you’ve definitely lost the straps that go with your strapless or multi-way bra. But Brappz is there to help! They’re soft and stretchy straps that fit right into the loops of your multi-way bra and are adjustable for maximum comfort and the rubber-like design keeps them from falling off your shoulders!
Grace: I have breasts on the larger side, and these held up without digging in! And support is always great eyyy.

Vera Bradley Zip ID Case:
Katelyn: Never lose your ID again! This helpful ID case easily fits in your pocket, in your bag, or hooked to your keychain!
Grace: Sometimes I throw in a card or any other little essential things I need and ditch my purse. What can I say, I’m a girl on the go.

Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liners (in 02 Black Gems, 04 Prismatic Purple, 05 Sparkling Turquoise, 06 Emerald Glisten):
Katelyn: I had some difficulties applying this eyeliner at first, but it stays on great! It doesn’t smudge or wear out over the course of the day and the colors are beautiful with a little bit of shimmer to give you a glam look.
Grace: I have Asian eyes, so it’s a struggle normally, but I really liked these eyeliners. The darker colors are less sparkly which is good since sometimes darker colors are more formal. The color payoff is actually really rich, and the design of the applicator is pretty interesting. At first it seems like one of those paintbrushes, but then the actual brush tip is stiff which may or may not help you, depending on what you’re used to. The tip has a nice point which helps make the tiniest lines if you need (which I do because space to draw on my eyelids is very limited). For a more casual look, I first put on the turquoise color and then outlined with black (also to accentuate more).
