1. Park Ave Holiday Open House

Holiday music, horse-drawn wagon rides, roasted chestnuts, pretty lights, SANTA? Count me in. Sounds like the perfect evening for a romantic date or an outing with friends. Stever’s will be giving out free candy canes!

When: Thursday, Dec 3rd 5-9pm (check website for full schedule)

Where: Park Ave

Cost: FREE

 

2. Gates Library Book Sale

Looking for some great stocking stuffers? Stop by Gates Library to buy like-new books, CDs and DVDs. 

When: Dec 4 9am-5pm & Dec 5 10am-5pm

Where: Gates Public Library, 902 Elmgrove Rd

Cost: FREE

 

3. “A Hand-Made Holiday” South Wedge Craft Show

As part of the “It’s a Wonderful Life in the South Wedge” Holiday Festival, over 45 local artists will be displaying their work for purchase. Sound like a great opportunity to support local art and get some Christmas shopping out of the way. There will also be carriage rides, music and holiday karaoke at LUX after the event!

When: Saturday, Dec 5th 11am-4pm

Where: The German House at 315 Gregory St. and St. Boniface Church at 330 Gregory St. (across the street)

4. Outdoor Ice Skating 

When: Season Opening Saturday Dec 5th 5:30 – 8:30pm

Where: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park Ice Rink

Cost: Season Opening is FREE

Regularly $5 adult admission, $3 skate rental
