Style File: Festival Fashion

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Quinnipiac chapter.

It’s that time of year again!  It’s festival season.  If you’re anything like me, you’ll be sitting on the quad instead of partying it up with celebs in a desert.  The combination of warmer temperatures here at the Q and Coachella fashions from last weekend has left me seriously lusting over summer fashions.  Here’s some style inspiration courtesy of your favorite Coachella celebs.

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner has definitely made an impression with her fashion choices in recent years.  She embodies edgy, California cool style.  Her looks are all about making a statementthrough accessories.  Step up any summer look with some of these Kylie-inspired pieces:

Selena Gomez

Selena is all about trendy but feminine looks.  Crochet pieces like her Free People dress are great for warmer weather, especially if you want to cover up a bit without overheating.  Take a cue from Selena by pairing a subtle statement piece with basics to create a fun look for summer:

Julianne Hough

Normally I would be a 105% against anything this close to a Canadian tuxedo but…I just can’t resist.  Julianne Hough looks absolutely adorable in this chambray on denim ensemble.  This look would be perfect for cooler summer days.

Beyonce

Do I even need to say anything?  It’s Queen B.  As usual, she looks outrageously beautiful and put together.  This outfit is so versatile.  It is an all-around excellent combination of summer staples.

I’d love to see some of your favorite looks from music festivals’ past.  Which of these looks are you daring to wear to concerts this summer?  Tweet HCQU your fashionly fab pics @hercampusqu, and we’ll retweet our favorites!  (Brownie points for making your outfits look effortless.)
