If you’re a girly girl like me, you tend to choose bright pinks when getting your nails done or painting them yourself. Or sometimes you are just plain Jane and want a nude on your tips. But with the fall season in full swing, new nail polish trends are upon us. Here are some new fall polish colors to try:
1. Essie Nail Polish in Wicked
Essie’s website describes this color as “a deep and dark creamy sinister red.” This matches perfectly with those juicy red apples you just picked from Lyman Orchards.
2. OPI Nail Lacquer in You Don’t Know Jacques
This is a classic nude from OPI. This shade goes with every outfit and reminds me of a hot fall drink…perfect for this time of year!
3. L’Oreal Colour Riche Nail Color in After Hours
Dark purple is in this fall. Not only is this a beautiful shade, but there are also shiny particles in the polish that “reflect light evenly to give nails a sophisticated eye catching glow,” according to ULTA’s website. What more could you want?
4. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Guilty Party
If you don’t like shiny, glittery polishes, this is not the polish for you. This nail polish is great because it is a gorgeous shade, and you don’t need to apply base and top coats because they’re already built in. Genius.
5. Revlon Nail Enamel in Revlon Red
This polish is a classic red that has been around for years. If all else fails when deciding which color to paint your nails, go for this one. It will pop on your nails and match perfectly with any warm sweater and leggings combo.
These are my five picks for nail polishes this fall. It doesn’t hurt to go outside your comfort zone and try a nail polish like one of these! But if you want to stick with your inner Elle Woods and choose a pink shade or a basic French, that’s fine, too.
