All Boys School? Count Me In!

By Rory Scout Harlow
October 8, 2012 - 7:00am

About thirty minutes or so down another country road leaving Purdue’s campus, you’ll find yourself in the little town of Crawfordsville, Indiana. It is not the most exciting place, nor does it have the best reputation as a town in the state… However, there is good to be found in every ‘bad’ place: just around nine hundred male students fill the halls of Wabash College, located in the middle of the small town. Although a very prestigious college for young men, the school seems to be astonishingly over-looked by the eyes of girls who attend the D1 and D2 surrounding colleges. READ MORE

Amazing Alternatives: Baked Chicken Fingers

By Katie Hanyzewski
October 7, 2012 - 1:55pm

After a few weeks of fitness blogs, I decided to switch it up and do a healthy eating post this week. Ever since I was a kid I’ve been addicted to chicken fingers. Until I was 16, no matter where my family went out to eat, I’d ALWAYS get chicken fingers. Most renditions of this traditional recipe involve heavily deep frying the breaded chicken in oil. This recipe eliminates the frying and instead bakes the chicken leading to an extremely delicious alternative! READ MORE

You might know the Greek system is known for its close-knit families, philanthropic facets and commitment to academic excellence, but it’s time you add one more significant merit to the list, and that’s studying abroad. In recent years, studying abroad has become such a huge part of collegiate life that many students seek out these opportunities their first weeks as a freshman and participating in more than one study abroad program is becoming increasingly popular each year. Fitness & Fashion, Part I

By Katie Hanyzewski
September 21, 2012 - 7:00am

One of my favorite things about working out often is the need for workout clothes! I don’t feel guilty buying new gym gear because I know that it’s to ultimately improve myself to become healthier and stronger. This is Part 1 of several blogs that will keep you updated with the latest (and cutest!) fitness gear! Of course it’s fun to shop for the cutest new Norts or pair of gym shoes to go running in around campus, but I know that when I look good going to the gym, I have more confidence in myself to run longer on the track or try that new machine that looks intimidating. It’s not about being fashionable, but about being a stronger and more confident version of you! So check out these picks, get to shopping, and get out there and get your sweat on!...
