Year: Junior

Major: Industrial Engineering

Hometown: Horsham, PA

Relationship Status: Single

HC: How do you like being a Communications Captain for THON 2015?

RB: I absolutely love it.  I’m able to help THON chairs of other organizations to raise money FTK!

HC: How many years have you been involved in THON?

RB: I’ve been involved all three years.  My freshman year I was involved with the special interest organization Atlas, my sophomore year I was the co-founder of Monarch (another special interest org) and I was also on Dancer Relations (formally Morale).  This year, I’m a Communications Captain!

HC: What else are you involved with at PSU?

RB: I’m also a part of the Penn State Men’s Ultimate Frisbee Club.

HC: Best pick up line?

RB: Nice Shoes. Wanna Date?

HC: If you had a theme song for every time you walked into a room, what would it be and why?

RB: “Getting Jiggy With It” by Will Smith. No explanation necessary.

HC: Most embarrassing moment?

RB: My life is too embarrassing to choose just one story.

HC: Best first date?

RB: She pays.

HC: If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

RB: A giraffe: 1)  they’re my favorite animal 2)  they’re insanely tall 3)  they eat allllll day.

HC: What makes you happier than anything else?

RB: I love dancing. I’m not saying I’m good, but I love it.  So that makes me happier than anything else.

HC: If someone were to play you in a movie, who would it be?

RB: Leonardo DiCaprio.  He’s perfect, and he would make me look 10x cooler than I actually am.

HC: Best childhood memory?

RB: The day that I met my best friend.  He moved into my neighborhood, and we rode bikes for about two hours and then I went to his house to eat dinner, even though I just met him earlier that day.

HC: Who would be your celeb mom and dad?

RB: I’m not sure who my celebrity mom and dad would be, but I would love my TV character mom and dad to be the parents from Moody’s Point.

HC: If you were a piece of furniture, what would you be and why?

RB: An ottoman because it is the most underrated piece of furniture.

HC: What is your nickname and why are you called it?

RB: Boyle. It’s my last name and there was a phase in grade school where everyone went by their last name, and my friends liked it so much that they’ve called me Boyle ever since.

HC: What animal do you feel like today?

RB: Right now, a panda.

HC: If you could sing one song on American Idol, what would it be and why?

RB: “Wasn’t Me” by Shaggy, because no one actually knows what he’s saying, so I could just make up anything I wanted and go along with it.

HC: What is your dream job?

RB: Working at a Boeing manufacturing plant.

HC: If you were on a game show, which one would you be on and why?

RB: The Price is Right (in the Bob Barker era) so that I could do a corny dance as I walk up to the stage.

HC: If you had a deli sandwich named after yourself, what would it be and why?

RB: The Fat Boyle and it would be at R U Hungry.  It would be the most ridiculous assortment of fried foods and you’ll probably regret it after you eat it, but while you’re eating it will be immaculate.

HC: What song do you sing in the shower?

RB: “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes because it’s so happy and upbeat.

HC: What is your favorite chick flick?

RB: I’m a sucker for The Fault in Our Stars. I just saw it the other day.
