15 Thoughts You Have When You Discover Your New Favorite Song

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at PSU chapter.

We’ve all been there. You’re listening to one of your favorite songs and decide to look at other music suggestions. Before you know it, you’re an hour into what is essentially an abyss of music. Here are 15 thoughts you have when you discover your new favorite song.

1. Considering I can’t remember when I put this song on repeat, I should probably try to find something else to listen to

2. Okay, maybe I’ll listen to it one more time

3. Okay, okay, let’s find something new

4. Hmm, what’s this?

5. Eh, not too bad

6. Still going to skip it though. Next!

7. *10 seconds into the next song* Bye. *Skip*

8. Ooh, what is this?

9. I like this song

10. Wait, I love this song

11. Who sings this?

12. Let me really quickly listen to all of their songs

13. Okay, so I guess I only like that one song

14. It’s okay, that’s why the repeat one song button was invented

15. *Puts song on repeat for the next week*
