16 Bad Ass Ways to Take an ExamBy November 15, 2012 - 11:59am Slam your pen down, crumple up your exam, lob it at your professor’s head and say, “Sucks to suck, nerd.” Flip your desk over. Chop up the wood and make a boat. Ride that thing out of there. Set your exam on fire. Turn to the person next to you, give them a passionate kiss and say, “We’ll always have (Insert class name here.)” Run away sobbing. Write “School is for suckas” on every page of exam. When you hand your exam into the professor, whisper seductively into his/her ear, “A+ or nothing.” Run up and down the aisles waving your exam around. Rip it into shreds and then throw it into the air like confetti. Yell, “School’s out for summer!” and skip on out of there. Extra points if it’s just a midterm.... |

An Autumn Playlist For Every SituationBy October 21, 2012 - 3:38pm It’s that kind of year again. Leaves are falling, your sweaters are being unpacked from boxes, and Starbucks is apparently trying to appease some sort of pumpkin god with themed lattes. Oh, yeah. It’s autumn. But with the changing of seasons come a changing of music. Suddenly jamming down the street to the Beach Boys seems a bit depressing; Grouplove is overplayed; and if you’re still listening to “Call Me Maybe,” you can no longer pass it off as ironic. Thank your lucky stars, reader, because I’m here to help! Here’s the perfect fall playlist, and some suggestions to where and when to take a listen. READ MORE |

How To Go To The Gym: PC StyleBy October 10, 2012 - 1:06pm So you’re finally tired of huffing and puffing your way up the stairs and are ready to go to the gym? Congratulations, that’s half the battle right there! Except it’s not, so any excitement you just felt, put a pin in it until you actually get there. As someone who frequents the gym regularly, often once, if not twice a semester, I am more than qualified to help you follow my example and become a muscle goddess! Step 1: Set your alarm for six in the morning. This is the prime gym-going time, as it will be mostly empty save for you and a few crusty old men who make you feel uncomfortable. However, you will have full use of all the machines! Hooray! READ MORE |

The Dangers of Squirrels and CoffeeBy April 10, 2012 - 10:49am The phrase “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me,” can be applied to my life if rewritten as “fool me repeatedly, on a biweekly basis, shame on my mother for bringing me into this world.” Needless to say I do not learn from mistakes well. Starting The New YearBy February 4, 2012 - 12:42pm Hey Guys! Hope your winter break was fantastic and relaxing! Mine sure was. But it went by way too fast. :( However, now I'm back at PC and I love it. And after a week back at PC, I think we all have found a flow to our schedules. At first I was nervous because I have so much on my plate this year. However, as I sit in the library in a sweatshirt with a hot chocolate looking outside at the snow, I think it'll be fine :) This semester I've decided to transition my major from Management to Marketing. I'm still staying in business though! :) So I'm taking more Marketing classes so I can test to see if this is really what I want to do. My schedule is as follows: READ MORE |

Being A Business MajorBy December 1, 2011 - 4:42pm The other day I heard a perspective student ask one of the students "Why become a business major?". Although the answer is different for each student, I thought I would give some insight. The best way to illustrate this is to list the pros and cons of my time here as a business major. That way, you can decide if you like it. :) Pros: -It's a versatile major. EVERYTHING is run by businesses nowadays. -It prepares you for life. The things you learn (such as budgets and organization) help you function with day to day activities as well. Not just businesses. READ MORE |
