PC Promotes Peace – Tearing Down the Berlin Wall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Providence chapter.

It’s the 22nd anniversary of the tearing down of the Berlin Wall, and PC’s College Republicans have decided to commemorate that historical day on Slavin lawn. The club has built a Mock Berlin Wall on which students can spray paint messages of peace and democracy. You can then come on down with your weapon of choice and help tear it down at 4. Tonight (November 9) in Feinstein 400, the club is also hosting a discussion with a man who lived in communist Czechoslovakia and escaped to America. He will be telling his story—food and refreshments will be served!
