Now that the hype of Dance of the Decades has faded and Spring Break is here, the next big event to look forward to on campus is Rock the Bluff! As I’m sure you’ve already heard, this year’s lineup for RTB is Coleman Hell and DNCE! That’s right, JOE JONAS IS COMING TO UP!! (My inner teenager is still screaming.) While we can still belt out the classic Jonas Brother songs “Burnin’ Up” and “Year 3000”, we may not know much of DNCE’s music, besides “Cake by the Ocean” (which is an anthem, am I right?). And if your first reaction to Coleman Hell was “Coleman Who?” like mine, then this article is for you. I’ve done my research and here are the essential songs to learn so we can all sing along at RTB this year!

Coleman Hell- “2 Heads”

Once I heard this song, I definitely recognized it; so now I could put an artist to this catchy tune!

Coleman Hell- “Fireproof”

I am obsessed with this song! It’s lit…get it? Because it’s called fireproof. Lit. Fire. *queue nervous laughter*

Coleman Hell- “Devotion”

I can’t get enough of this song. It’s definitely going to be great dance song at RTB.

DNCE- “Pay My Rent”

If I had a dollar for every time I have listened to this song, I could pay Joe Jonas’ rent. LOVE THIS ONE!

DNCE- “Toothbrush”

This song is pretty popular, but not as popular as “Cake by the Ocean”, yet equally as catchy and upbeat!

DNCE- “Body Moves”

I could definitely foresee this song taking the radio by storm. It has the potential to be a major hit. And this live version is a great preview of what we can expect at RTB this year! *swoon*

DNCE- “Good Day”

The day of RTB is definitely going to be a good day, don’t listen to what anyone else says! This song is going to be stuck in my head for hours, I can already tell.

Overall, I would rate both of Coleman Hell and DNCE’s debut albums 10/10! They are incredibly upbeat and fun to sing and dance to. If you have time, I would definitely recommend listening to them in their entirties. However, if you are a busy lady, here are some highlights that we can look forward to for this year’s RTB. Hope to see you all there! It’s sure to be a great show!
