There’s nothing better than some sun, hanging out with friends, and enjoying the summer season! Even though some of us have internship, summer jobs, and thinking about our futures (scary!) we are bound to have a day off here and there! What better time to embrace summer fashion and really embrace the warmest part of the year! Here are a few of my must haves for the season!
1. Hats- There are so many styles of hats for the summer. Everything from a fedora, to a big floppy hat, to a baseball cap, you can’t go wrong with any of them! Not only can they be a great accessory, but they also help block the especially harsh UV rays on the extra sunny days!
2. Round Sunglasses- I’ve been seeing round sunglasses in a bunch of different styles all over recently. They are a fun new trend that come in several different colors (I love a pair in a pastel!) They aren’t harsh and can be the perfect compliment to a summer outfit!
3. Colorful Jewelry- I love using jewelry to add color to a neutral outfit. Summer is a great way to bust out the boldest colors! I love a big necklace or several bracelets, or even a combination of all of them! The brighter the better!
4. Crop Tops- Floral crop tops are definitely the way to go with this trend! They look great with a pair of high waist shorts and even a hat and some cool shades! There is a huge assortment of every color and pattern that you could ever imagine, so no matter what your style is, there is something for you!
5. Sandals- Obviously sandals are a must have for the summer. No matter the color or style, nothing screams summer more than a great pair of sandals! They are the one part of my summer wardrobe that I don’t mind investing in because I know I will get good use of them!
6. Pastel Purse- In the summer, I fully believe that a pastel can be used as a neutral. What better way to keep those sunglasses safe then in a stylish purse? I love a pastel purse with all of the other summer pieces that I’ve described above! It’s a great way to fully complete your perfect summer outfit!
