	Keep Calm and Travel On: The Bard, the Kingmaker, and the Water Cannon By Kathryn Walters December 8, 2012 - 4:20pm Our major excursion this week in the program was an overnight trip to Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick Castle! Of course, Stratford is most famous for being Shakespeare's birthplace, so as a newly minted Shakespeare nerd, I was super excited to go. We took the train on Thursday morning to Stratford, which took a few hours. Once we arrived, we went straight to our B&B and left our things there. Stratford is such a cute little town! So picturesque and quintessentially English. I know it's for the benefit of the hordes of tourists who constantly invade the town, but it's always nice to see other parts of England other than London, although, London is pretty much the best place I have ever been :)...
	Keep Calm and Travel On: Bella Italia By Kathryn Walters November 29, 2012 - 1:28am Okay, phase three of my fall break adventures: Florence and Venice! I must say, after the craziness of Rome and Paris, Florence and Venice were somewhat of a relief. In both cities, we were able to relax a bit more. It was less of a race to see everything we could possibly cram into as few hours as possible, and more of just soaking up the local color, as they say on I Love Lucy. Which in my case, means eating as much gelato, pizza, and pasta as physically possible. Oh, and traipsing around is important too, I guess. READ MORE

	Keep Calm and Carry On: The One Time I Locked Eyes with Steven Fry By Kathryn Walters October 26, 2012 - 5:25pm Last night was probably one of the most fun experiences yet in London!! Last night we had the good fortune to attend a production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at none other than Shakespeare's home turf, the Globe Theatre. I must say, I had my reservations going in to this situation. First, I did not completely enjoy reading the play for class. Second, I wasn't exactly looking forward to standing for three hours straight. And third, I was not looking forward to getting rained on, since it was a somewhat drizzly day. Guess what? Today was by far one of the most crazy, stressful, action-packed days so far in London. But it was also one of the best!!!! Harry Potter studio tour!!!!! Where they filmed much of the beloved film series.
