Are you looking for new, yet easily ready, snacks to have around your dorm room? Healthy snacks that are simple to make are more accessible than you may think. It may even be easier to prepare these yummy snacks in your own room than to search through Mack’s Market to find something to satisfy your hunger. Here are a few little snacks that will keep you going throughout the day and will make your body feel great and refreshed.
1. Rice Cakes with Peanut Butter and Jelly
This is one of my favorite snacks. It’s so easy to prepare and all the ingredients are super easy to store in your room.
2. Hummus and Carrots
Baby carrots (and celery!) and hummus is a refreshing, light snack that will give you lots of energy.
3. Cheese and Crackers
Who doesn’t love cheese and crackers? This snack is so flexible. It’s easy to find pre-sliced pieces of cheese and we all know, cracker options are endless.
4. Apples and Peanut Butter
Apples are sweet and nutritious. Add a bit of peanut butter and you have the perfect protein boost to get you through the rest of the day. (You can also sub the apples for bananas or add a few chocolate chips!) If you’re looking to spice it up, add some raisins and oats!
5. Chips and Guacamole
This is an all time favorite too. No mess and super yummy!
