Views from Pittsburgh’s Women’s March

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Pitt chapter.

Yesterday an estimated 25,000 people marched through downtown Pittsburgh as part of the worldwide Women’s March. Here’s a selection from some of our favorite photos from the event.

Taking a rest from the march.

The streets throughout downtown were full for two hours.

Okay ladies, now let’s get in formation.

There was an extremely wide range of ages present at the march.

And, as always, a bit of Pittsburgh pride.

The march made its way down Grant Street, Fifth Avenue and McMasters Way before ending in Market Square with music and speeches. All of this unraveled relatively quietly for 25,000 people being in attendance, with a calm but purposeful attitude pervading the two hour grassroots event.
