Dave and Andy's Scoop of Advice: Interracial Dating

By Dave Rogers Jr., Andy McCormick
February 7, 2013 - 9:00pm

Hey Dave and Andy! It's pretty cool what you guys are doing. I don't go to Pitt yet but I will be attending in the fall :) Anyways, here is my question: Do guys get intimidated by the idea of dating a girl from another race? Every guy that I've dated who is not my race (African-American) has bailed once things started getting serious. I know that every guy is different, but I just want to know y’alls thoughts on the subject. I've never had the balls to actually ask any of the guys I've dated. READ MORE

Dave and Andy's Scoop of Advice: Too Shy in Spanish

By Dave Rogers Jr., Andy McCormick
January 30, 2013 - 6:00pm

Dear Dave and Andy, So, there's a guy in one of my classes that I'm really interested in getting to know, but I'm always too shy to say anything to him! Every semester, between my friends and I, there's always that one guy that strikes our interests in our classes but none of us ever have the guts to actually pursue anything because frankly, we don't know how to go about it. This time there's a guy (let's call him "El Chico") in my Spanish class: he's really smart and insanely nice, but l I still can't bring myself to make the first move. I don't want to finish this semester like the rest – by not saying anything at all! Any advice on how to go about this without coming off as desperate or crazy? Thanks!...

Oral Sex: Getting Down With Going Down

By Nahja Martin
December 8, 2012 - 2:28pm

Giving and receiving oral sex can be a pretty sensitive topic amongst different people. Some say yes, oral sex is a must if you want to get laid. Others say they can skip it and just get straight to the main meal (so to speak). According to one friend, oral sex can be really great or really, really horribly, there’s not really an in between or gray area there. Oral sex can be wonderful, mind blowing, and incredibly arousing…if done properly. Over the years, many of my girl friends have complained about having to fake an "O" just because a guy is feverishly sticking his tongue in her downstairs business. But guys, surprise surprise, in oral sex, your tongue is NOT supposed to play the role of your penis!...

By Kate Bilash
November 23, 2012 - 3:20pm

Yes, growing up is fun. Lots of fun. But at some point, it also starts to become a scary topic. At what point in your life are you supposed to have everything planned out? Do things even need to be planned or will everything just fall into place? As the fall semester on my junior year begins to wind down and I realize that I only have one more fall semester left, I realize that these questions are becoming more prevalent in my life, and I am completely lost looking for answers.
