On TV today, we see multitudes of products claiming to enhance this or grow that. Though I cannot attest to whether or not these products actually work, I believe there’s nothing wrong with giving them a try sometimes (but not all at once!). So which lucky product did I put to the test, you ask? Hairfinity, which is a dietary supplement that claims to provide healthy hair growth for all people regardless of hair texture. Now, I’m going to walk you through my Hairfinity experience.

Hairfinity bottles are sold by months, meaning you go through one bottle per month. Each bottle has 60 capsules. I purchased the two-month supply and could hardly wait for it to come. I mean, who wouldn’t want longer hair? I counted down the 3-5 business days with anticipation.

When I checked the mail and saw the pink package, I almost cried with excitement!

The supplements come in these cute, ombre pink bottles that you can see through. There are instructions on the back (two capsules per day) with all the other standard health warnings. Please make sure to read those because they are important!

After the initial excitement wore off and I started taking the pills, I noticed there was this funky smell.

The pills and the bottle itself smell like something in them is slightly off. I was alarmed and, after some research, I found out that this is just the powder’s scent.

After about two weeks, I didn’t notice any change in my hair growth or in the strength of my nails, another benefit Hairfinity claims to have. I did notice, however, that I was getting hair bumps around my chin area! There wasn’t any actual hair yet, but still. A beard?!

By the third week, the worst had become even worse. I had stubble under my chin! I did measure my hair length though, and it had grown a whole inch! That’s pretty fast for a three-week time span. I’m not sure which more affected me: the hair growth or the chin whiskers.

I was  and

 at the same time.

I finally reached my last pill for the first month. I measured my hair again and it had grown an additional 1/3 inch. There was no change in the strength of my nails and no other effects on my body. BUT (and a big BUT I might add), I did get hair under my chin. It wasn’t so much that I would sign myself up for the next bearded lady slot at the circus, but still. In my book, any chin hair is unwanted hair.

Simply, Hairfinity works! I did experience boosted hair growth, even though it was on more places than on top of my head. All the other side effects it claims to give, I didn’t experience. Yet, everyone is different, so keep that in mind if you do plan to purchase a supply. And always remember, short hair or long hair, you should always feel like this:
