Ten Best Lip Tints for Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Pepperdine chapter.

We always spend so much time focused on taking care of our face. We spend hours figuring out which face wash will work best for our skin type, whether we should use an exfoliating mask or a hydrating one on any given week, choosing a day lotion that will hydrate, have SPF, and also not make our faces oily. So why is it that we usually do not devote as much attention to the rest of our skin? For instance, many of us often forget that our lips also need to be taken care of, especially during these harsh winter months. Here are some lip tints that will serve you well as moisturizers to save your lips from what is seemingly an eternity of being chapped, while also creating a complimenting color that will transition seamlessly into spring.

1. Olio e Osso Balms: These come in several colors and also function for moisturizing your cheeks, body, and even hair!

2. Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner: This will feel like the perfect blend of lipstick and lip balm. With a wide selection of colors, you can choose the one you like the best more easily, which will hopefully lead you to use the lip conditioner more often!

3. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue: Not only does this come in a gorgeous container, it is also great for hydration (hence, the “quench” in its name). 4. Bite Beauty Smashed Agave Lip Mask: This leave-on mask is not only effective, but also comes in a gorgeous wine-colored tint.

5. Bite Beauty Lush Lip Tint: Opt for this lip tint if you are looking for a more sheer and glossier finish.

6. Milk Makeup Balm Tint: I love this brand! Their products always work really well and the packaging is consistently sleek.

7. Ciate London Pretty Stix Murumuru Butter Lipstick: This one is an actual lipstick that comes in 10 different shades and is very hydrating. All of the colors are gorgeous and named perfectly, too!
