What has been your favorite memory from Pepperdine?
As a freshman, during the first month of school, before I really had any friends or knew anyone, my suitemates came into my room on my birthday and started dancing around and blasting music. They woke me up with cards and hot chocolate and they had put up decorations around my room. I remember being super tired, first of all, but also just felt so loved and welcomed by people I hardly knew. The people that I lived with freshman year provided an awesome sense of community and made a huge impact on my first year of college.
What’s your YouTube channel? What made you decide to start it?
It’s called PrimroseMakeup and we originally created it as a “makeup tutorial” channel. We honestly just really liked making home videos and saw it as a fun way to entertain ourselves. We had some friends who lived in New York and we made a private YouTube channel with them. Since we all had access to the channel, we would each post a video once a week and watch each other’s videos. It was a way for us to stay in touch with our friends and also make girly videos. Later, Steph and I decided to go public and make a new channel together.

What made you pick your major?
Since I’ve been exposed to advertising through YouTube, I was interested to see the other side of it and better understand how it works.
Favorite thing to do on campus?
Getting breakfast burritos at the law school caf or going to the second floor of the law school and writing on the whiteboard.
