I never liked tea until I was a freshman in high school. I had walking pneumonia and had to drink tea to try and get rid of the cough and sore throat. Since then, I have been a tea drinker. Here’s some reasons why you should be too:

  1. It’s warm

Obviously, tea is warm. It’s helpful to warm you up when it’s cold outside, sometimes with no caffeine. If you need caffeine, you have plenty of options.

  1. It calms you down

I have trouble sleeping when I don’t have my tea. I drink tea at school if I’m cold, tired, or stressed. The stress of walking from Cyber and managing to open the doors to the Library without wearing it might make some of your other stress go away.

  1. There’s plenty of flavors

I always drank black tea until my freshman year of college when I was introduced to green tea. I usually always drink some variety of green, but there are flavored green teas. There are also herbal teas. The only one I can think of that I’ve tried is mint tea, which is good.

  1. It pairs well with books

The only problem you may have is remembering to drink your tea before it gets cold :).
