That’s right Occidental College students it’s that time of year again, pull out your silly signs, write up your dancer-grams, and free your evenings because… DANCE PRO is back in action for its 67th year!
Since the beginning of the fall semester, student choreographers have been teaching complex styles of dance to students who, as of 6 months ago, were, for the most part, completely unexperienced in these styles. Some of these various styles include: Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Irish, Indian Classical, Hawaiian Hula, Broadway, Burlesque, and belly dance, to name just a few.
Come support your friends who willingly sacrificed their weekends to work hard in a hot dance studio simply to put on a fantastic performance for your enjoyment. Shows are Friday night at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm in Thorn Hall. Tickets and merchandise will be sold in the quad all week from 11:30am-1:30pm. Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for faculty, staff, and alumni, and $10 for general admission. The matinee is $5 for all.
