The Maxi Dress The maxi dress is the perfect transition piece from spring to summer! Here are a couple of things to look out for when you’re buying one. · Many of my friends tell me that they can’t wear maxi dresses because of the length. If you find that the dress is too long, consider shortening it by taking in a couple of inches at the bottom.  · Like with any other dress, make sure the maxi dress defines your waist.  Most dresses naturally are narrow at your waist and help flatter your body. If you want something more loose, consider buying a maxi dress that you can belt or tie. · Make sure that you are comfortable with how the dress hangs on your body. You don’t want it to be a tight fit, nor do you want to the dress to look like a bag on your body....
