Candice Shaver is settling in to freshmen year the best she can. Like most college students, her least favorite part is the hard work and hours you have to put into the homework.
The Rome, N.Y. native thought the campus was beautiful and it was a good school for her major.
So far, Candice has gotten a job in Hewitt and teaches piano on campus. “I enjoy doing these and I love getting involved in the community and meeting new people.” For her job in Hewitt, she makes sandwiches, salads and other foods in the kitchen.
After college, Candice would like to be a math teacher and teach algebra or find a job in a middle school.
