Looking for something to do on May 9 and think you’ll already be having withdrawals from your friends at Ohio State? Come to the Ohio State Cedar Point Day! For the out of state students, Cedar Point is the place to go over the summer in Ohio. It is located in Sandusky, which is about 2 hours northwest of Columbus. Cedar Point has some of the top roller coasters in the country and has been rated the best amusement park in the world numerous times.

May 9 is Ohio State day at Cedar Point and through D Tix you can get up to 10 tickets per BuckId for only $25 each. This is a good deal because Cedar Point doesn’t officially open to the public until May 10 and tickets are normally about double the cost. Cedar Point’s hours are 11 am-9 pm (plenty of time to ride Top Thrill Dragster multiple times). The event is open to Ohio State students, Alumni, and families. There will be special guests in attendance too like; Archie Griffin, Brutus, the Athletic Band, and the cheerleaders. Another incentive that college students will love: the first 1500 guests in the park will receive a FREE t-shirt. Tickets for students are availible at the D Tix counter in the Ohio Union.
