Four Real Men’s Answers Your Everyday Fashion Problems

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OSU chapter.

During my procrastination of homework and studying, I came across an article on the website Who What Wear called, “6 Real Men’s Hilarious Solutions to Your Fashion Girl Problems,” and was immediately intrigued. The site posed the most cliché fashion issues to men and unexpectedly got the most hilariously insightful answers. The men actually has some great answers to the fashion problems girls go through everyday. I know, shocking right? While I continued to read, I decided to take matters into my own hands and pose some of these questions to the men of Ohio State. Keep reading for their answers that will make you laugh… and quite possibly fall in love.

Collin Gossel, 4th Year

1. Ugh, I have nothing to wear

“You are a liar and I can see your clothes”

2. My shoes hurt.

“I’d probably say, ‘oh sorry, do you want me to carry you or make a joke about it,’ and then we would keep on doing what we were doing”

3. I’m way overdressed.

“No you look great. You can never be overdressed. I like when people dress up for different things”

4. Someone else is wearing the same thing as me.

“You guys should be best friends.”

Alex Thesken, 2nd Year

1. Ugh, I have nothing to wear.

I would say that’s probably not true but if you mean you have nothing new to wear then I can dig that.

2. My feet/shoes hurt.

“I would probably tell her that her shoes look nice and do you want me to carry your shoes if we are at a place that requires more walking. Or I would help solve the problem by offering to drive and get my car while you wait there”

3. I’m way overdressed.

“I do know that problem so I would say, ‘dude I feel you. It sucks.’”

4. Someone else is wearing the same thing as me.

“Dang, bummer but at least you look better than she does.”

Mason Cammel, 5th Year

1. Ugh, I have nothing to wear.

“Yes you do. You’ll look fine in whatever you have.”

2. My shoes hurt.

“Why do girls buy shoes that are uncomfortable? Sometimes I have sympathy and I’m like that sucks and sometimes I don’t.”

3. I’m way overdressed.

“No you’re not you look great”

4. Someone else is wearing the same thing as me.

“One reaction would be like, oh that’s funny or you have good taste. Or I would joke around and say something like ‘I’m going f**king kill that b***h’”

Devin Thomas, 3rd Year

1. Ugh, I have nothing to wear.

“This is horrible already. You’ve gotta have something to wear that’s not real, that’s not an actual thing”

2. My feet/shoes hurt.

“You gotta get out of the heels”

3. I’m way overdressed.

     “No you’re not…I don’t know.”

4. Someone else is wearing the same thing as me.

“Go change *girlfriends jaw drops in shock* That’s what you have to do, either change or deal with it”
