Quick and Easy Hair Tutorials for those Rough MorningsBy April 4, 2013 - 10:30am The slumps that January, February and March bring hit hard on us college women. Countless college students (including myself) go to sleep overwhelmed with thinking about the possibilities of the next day. When it comes to my hair, a messy ponytail and a few quick sprays of Tresemme’s dry shampoo usually does the trick. READ MORE |

This film, as you all may know, is based on the short novel by Stephen Chbosky. The story follows a fifteen-year-old, Charlie, through his first year of high school as he makes friends with the senior crowd and experiences his first love. As the title hints, Charlie is a wallflower of sorts – a quiet, outsider who mainly keeps to himself, all while trying to make sense of his place in the world. After reading the book and watching the film, I began to wonder, are there actually any perks of being a wallflower... |

Disney ConditioningBy February 17, 2013 - 9:00pm I, like most other people, grew up watching Disney movies. To this day, I still love them. In fact, I spent my previous Saturday night watching 101 Dalmatians instead of going to a party like most of my classmates. READ MORE |

7 Recipes to Keep You Slim & StudiousBy February 4, 2013 - 8:04am As a frequent pinner and a foodie at heart, I have compiled quite the list of recipes. Many have gone untried, but not due to their lack of creativity or delicious ingredients, but rather my lazy, tired, college girl attitude. As college students we’re often strapped for time, keeping us from making gourmet meals. Not to mention those types of meals also require patience and energy – also, in short supply. With keeping these things in consideration, I have put together a list of delicious and simple recipes with a concentration on health to keep your stomach full (and flat!) and your schedule open for more studying. A Culture of CostumingBy February 3, 2013 - 7:11pm Everybody likes to get dressed up now and then, and even as a tom-boy type, I am no exception. The feeling of getting ready for a special occasion is a rare pleasure that I indulge in only a few times a year. However, the kind of dressing up that I do isn’t your run of the mill put-on-a-pretty-dress routine. What I lik READ MORE |
