It is safe to say that fall is the best time of the year to be a girl! From cozy, oversized sweaters, to tall, knee-high boots, this is the season to make the boldest fashion statements. Of the many cute outfits we sport throughout the season of orange and brown, you cannot forget the most important part of your ensemble–your makeup! And this fall, the latest looks are oh-so bold!
As a makeup enthusiast myself (and I use the term ‘enthusiast’ rather loosely), I have found that fall is the best season to go dark and bold with your makeup. From black smokey eyes, to dark, vampy style-lips, to even soft cranberry colors, the trends are always changing, but anyone can make their own fall face.
Every fall, as always, a rather popular trend appears to be a dark and smoldering eye look, with a pop of glitter. Kelly Leyva, a 19 year old self-taught makeup pro from San Diego, CA looks absolutely gorgeous in this full-face vamp inspired look, put together using the Morphe 35B and 35T pro-eyeshadow palettes, and glitter from the Revlon Photoready Eye Art collection. On her eyebrows, she used NYX eyebrow wiz, and Elf clear gel to hold them in place. While she certainly slays beyond compare, this look is not hard to achieve, and definitely takes the dark plunge that is all the rave during fall.

Another popular trend is the simple color eye. Nina Cruz, 20, from Freehold, NJ, looks truly flawless sporting this cranberry eye. Using cranberry eyeshadow by MAC on her eyelids, and her Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in dark brown to sculpt her brows, she looks absolutely stunning. This look is a particular statement in itself–simple, yet bold. Perfect for any occasion, and does not take too much time!
