The time has finally come—when your toenails have been hiding in a pair of warm socks and boots all winter and are ready to be shown off in those gorgeous new sandals. After looking at my toes, which have had zero color on them for the past few months, I get excited about getting them painted. This spring there are several colors that are hot-and-trending so that your nails (both hands and toes) look flawless all spring and summer long. Here are some of my personal fav’s as the weather gets nicer:

1. Soft Lilac

This color is definitely one of my go-tos because it has a pop of color, but in a subtle way. I love this light purple for any kind of outing because even though it’s purple, it still manages to make a statement without being too bold.

2. Nude Pink

Nude pink is great when you have a job or are involved in a sport that limits what kinds of colors you can wear on your nails. This natural color shows off your perfect cuticles, and will definitely match anything you wear.

3. Light Gray

Light gray seems like it could be a fall or winter color, but it also is a spring color because of how light it is. This color also goes with any outfit of your choice, but it has a more sophisticated look to it. This is one of my new favorites that I am putting on my list to try again.

4. Sky Blue

Sky blue always seem to be popular on younger girls, but lately I have seen a lot of people rockin’ this color, no matter what age. It’s bright and cheery and definitely catches people’s attention, but in a fashionable way.

5. Watermelon

Watermelon looks amazing as a nail color, especially on the toes. I like this color for toenails especially because of how bright and noticeable it is. This bold pigment screams spring and summer and is a great pick when you are going on a tropical vacation.

6. Sparkly Pink

Sparkly pink is a great way to add some shimmer but also keep it classy. The subtle sparkle is a fun way to go outside of your comfort zone if you normally stick to neutral colors.

7. Subtle yellow

Though I have yet to try this soft yellow, it looks very appealing on other people that I have seen. It’s a spring color that is refreshing and also pairs well with brown or black sandals on the beach or even works as a normal everyday color because of how calm the pigment looks.

8. Neutral Green

This greenish pigment is similar to a mint color, which is a common spring choice, but it has more of a darker, forest green tint to it. Neutral green is a color that truly looks good on everyone because it’s unique and very stylish. Even if it doesn’t match everything, it still is a color that would be exciting to try if you’re feeling up to something eye-catching.
