Thoughts You Have While Napping in Your Dorm Room

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oneonta chapter.

We can all agree that trying to find time to nap during the day is difficult. If you’re anything like me, you plan your whole day around the nap(s) you will take after class. Here are some of the problems we face when trying to take a nap:

1. Ah finally what I have been waiting for all day!

2. I’m so cold; let me grab a few blankets.

3. But now I’m sweating; I’ll open a window.

4. Everyone on campus is so loud.

5. I think someone is singing Adele at the top of his or her lungs and that needs to end.

6. Why are people playing sports right outside my window?

7. Don’t they know it’s time for my long awaited nap?

8. Why do I hear birds chirping at this hour?

9. OMG, when’s dinner? I’m starving.

10. Maybe I’ll eat a little snack or twelve.

11. My roommates need to shut up.

12. Maybe I’ll sleep in the library (again).

13. I should really be doing work right now…

14. Forget that, I deserve this nap.

15. I’ll do my homework after.

16. I’ll only sleep for an hour.

17. OMG it’s eight o’clock!

18. Why didn’t my alarm go off??

19. I missed my entire night class.

20. It was worth it though, that nap was great.

May you take many naps this semester!

Zerin
