When did life become so hustle-and-bustle? Sometimes it is difficult to remember to slow down, pause, and reflect on what truly matters.

So, with Thanksgiving just having passed, I’ve composed a list of thirty little things that we should all take the time to be thankful for.

1.     The smell of flowers.

2.     Rainy days.

3.     Hot cocoa with little marshmallows.

4.     Saturday morning cartoons.

5.     Warm and gooey chocolate chip cookies.

6.     Wearing clothes straight from the dryer.

7.     When your favorite song comes on in shuffle mode.

8.     Cozy blankets and fluffy pillows.

9.      Receiving a genuine compliment.

10.    Giving a genuine compliment.

13.    Taking your contacts out.

14.   A good hair day.

15.    Soup.
