10 Struggles Only Short Girls Understand

1. Buying new pants is a constant struggle. They are always too long and you need to either roll them up, hide the length with a nice pair of  boots, or go the extra mile and  learn to hem them yourself.

2. Everyone thinks you’re their own personal armrest.

3. Your step stool is your best friend. Seriously, you can’t go anywhere without it.

4. Hugging a tall person is very awkward and you always have to make the decision of standing on your tippy toes to put your arms around their neck, or just go for the easier awkward hug around the waist.

5. Large crowds make you extremely claustrophobic. It’s a hard life being vertically challenged when your head reaches most people’s backs; when encountered with large crowds you feel very closed-in, and it can be a little overwhelming not having headspace.

6. Never being able to see at concerts. Shout out to all the tall friends who put us shorties on your shoulders so we can see. Y’all the real MVPs.

7. Heels only make you slightly average height.

8. People constantly asking you, “wait, have you always been that short?” For the thousandth time yes I have always been this short, what other answer do you expect?

9. Standing next to your really tall friends looks awkward as hell in pictures.
