Get jeweled this school year with a jewelry line that will give your style that extra sparkle! Gresham Hodges, a Dallas native and an Ole Miss student who is working towards a Liberal Arts degree focusing on Art, Art History, Italian, and English, also has a passion for designing jewelry and has her own jewelry line called Jewelry by Gresham.
Hodges’ love for designing jewelry first began as a hobby when she was making friendship bracelets for her classmates at a young age, but before she knew it, her hobby developed into a passion for designing and creating jewelry that lasted all throughout her Middle School and High School years to her now current college years.
Gresham’s jewelry is now featured in various stores including Oxford Floral in Oxford, Embellish in Meridian, and Sprout in Fredericksburg, TX, but the jewelry designer is hoping to expand to other stores and cities soon!
Though a very involved and busy student, Gresham has continued to explore her passion by creating her unique and elegant designs on a daily basis. Gresham individually designs and crafts each piece by hand, combining semi-precious stones and vintage pieces with her sterling silver, and gold-filled settings.
Gresham’s most recent collection, Firenze, is the Italian word for the city of Florence. The collection is named in light of her time spent in Florence this summer studying art history and Italian. Drawing inspiration from the rich culture of the Italian Renaissance, Gresham concentrated on mixing three main materials: gold, vintage charms, and rich colored stones. Gresham views the combination of these three materials as reminiscent of the luster and intrigue of the Italian Renaissance culture. Every design in this collection catches attention and invites the viewer to take a closer look.
