We’ve reached November, which means the holidays are right around the corner. In turn, this means lots of parties; lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of calories, and a high possibility that we may forget about working out. Therefore, let’s make working out a priority because before we know it, summer will be knocking at our windows. Making exercise a priority is the secret to achieving a healthy; confident; strong body which makes us happy.

Working out before an enormous delicious meal is beneficial to the body in numerous ways. The first; working out leads to controlling your hunger during the holidays, making you aware of your eating habits. According to stylehomepage.com, when you worked up a serious sweat you are more likely to choose a lighter, healthier meal over the greasy stuff, which means you won’t feel sluggish. The second benefit leads to easing stress. While some people can handle the holiday season, others suffer from a great amount of stress by either shopping or traveling. Therefore, get ahead of the “New Year’s Resolution” before your friends. Here is a quick workout I do before I sit with the family and go ham at the dinner table. All you will need is space for your body without even having to go to the gym. Set a timer for 7 minutes and complete the circuit with the set amount of reps. Do this for about an hour, or however long you feel is healthy for your body.

1. Lay Down Push Ups – 15 reps.

2. AB Bikes – 40 reps.

3. Commandos – 24 reps.

4. Side Crunches – 30 reps.
