Thanksgiving Makeup Looks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Ohio U chapter.

Story by Gabrielle Zacharia

I put together this beautiful, warm and sparkly fall makeup look. It reminds me of cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and champagne, which is perfect for Thanksgiving! It’s flattering on everyone and will look amazing in all the photos you will take with your fam and friends.

I first primed my eyes with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Then, I began applying a sparkly, burnt orange color in and above my crease using Buxom eyeshadow in the shade “It Crowd.”

Using the Carli Bybel Palette by Bhcosmetics, I used a light plum color in my crease and the outer corners of my eyes.

I then took a darker plum color in the Carli Bybel Palette and focused that in the outer corners of my eyes. After that, I used a darker matte brown shade to add depth to the outer v of my eyes and then a bronze, copper shade to blend the crease colors together.

Lastly, I used a shimmery, light pink color from the same palette on my lid and then layered a metallic pink shade from Anastasia Beverley Hills called “Pink Champagne” on top and in the inner corners.

For eyeliner, I first used a gel liner by Maybelline New York Eyestudio in the color “Blackest Black” and then Rimmel London Exaggerate Eye Definer on my waterline. For mascara, I used L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza.

I finished off the look with highlighter and lipstick. Using the Glow Kit by Anastasia Beverley Hills in Sundipped, I swiped “Tourmaline” above my cheek bones and then the shade “Moonstone” on the bridge of my nose, cupids bow and chin. For the lips, I used NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in “04, Soft Spoken.”

There you have it! Be sure to give this look a try and you’ll be looking as good as pumpkin pie!
