We all use apps. From Instagram to Pandora, Pinterest to The Weather Channel, we are constantly on our phones using apps. What if there was an app for “Netflix and chilling?” Well, we can soon say that there’s an app for that. Our generation has quickly developed the saying “Netflix and chill” and pairs it directly to the dating world (although “Netflix and chill” can also be code for hookups or sex.)

You may be able to find your true love via Netflix with the proposed dating app Netfling. The app will work something like Tindr, but you will automatically be paired with those near you who have similar Netflix interests. Netfling will have a chatting option as well, in case you just want to chat about an episode with your potential true love. All you will need to do is log onto your Netflix account and begin your search for the perfect “couch companion”.  The couple who Netflixes together stays together, right?

Although Netfling has not been released yet, there is already much publicity for the app. Spotify has already created a perfect “Netflix and Chill” playlist for this common date night activity, ranging from “Pony” by Ginuwine to “Earned It” by The Weeknd. You can even go follow the Netfling Facebook page. But, in the meantime, continue to binge-watch your favorite Netflix series and just maybe, soon, there will be a way to invite someone via app to come over to “Netflix and chill”.
