This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Ohio U chapter.

Holiday break is a time to spend with your family and friends to celebrate the holidays (and you being home, of course).  Make the most out of your break by completing this checklist (if applicable) and go back to school with fun memories to tell!

1. Go ice-skating with friends!

2. Watch The Christmas Story!

3. Build a snowman!

4. Make cookies with your family!

5. Hit up the Victoria Secret Semi-annual Sale (the first week of January)!

6. Watch the smiles on your family’s faces when they open gifts!

7. Share your favorite holiday memories with younger family members!

8. Go sledding or snow tubing!

9. Spend a whole day shopping and don’t regret a thing!

10. Kiss someone under the mistletoe!

11. Tune in to ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas!

12. Cozy up with hot chocolate and a movie!

13. Have a girls’ day- mani/pedi included!

14. Attend a Christmas Parade!

15. Get crafty- make some gifts with Pinspiration!

16. Kiss someone at midnight on New Year’s!

17. Work your butt off for some extra cash!

18. Hang up decorations with your family (and don’t forget to help take them down)!

19. Have a gift exchange with your close friends! Make it a potluck meal for extra fun!

20. Learn a few yoga moves from Youtube and help them de-stress you during the holidays!

21. Jam to your favorite holiday music!

22. Snap and share pictures of the Winter Wonderland!

23. Hit up after Christmas sales with all the gift cards and money you receive!

24. Give your family hugs, even the weird extended family, and let them know you love them!

25. Enjoy your holiday break to the fullest (and stay warm)!
