Jourdyn Heilinger
After 3 1/2 all too fast years here at Ohio University I am proud to say that I am an OU grad. I have been a part of the HCOU staff since it’s launch in 2010. Being a staff writer and eventually an editor and campus correspondent has definitely kept me busy, but I have always found time to enjoy the beauty and excitement that Athens has to offer. However, I still have a few things to cross off my OU bucket list before I move to Los Angeles, California this summer!
Lauren Koketko
The past four years at Ohio University have been great, especially with being an active member of Her Campus Ohio U since it’s launch in 2010. HCOU has provided me with more experience that will (hopefully) help me get a ‘big girl’ job in these next couple months of resume tweaking and job searching. I’ve know from day one that OU was the right place for me and I honestly cherish every memory made on the green campus and brick lined streets. After graduating in May, I’ll have one thing in mind, “Once a Bobcat, Always a Bobcat!”
We’d like to recognize the new editors-in-chief, starting in January 2014. Congratulations Carly Maurer and Meredith Broadwater– you girls will do a great job leading HCOU!

Emily McIntyre
I am a freshman from Cleveland majoring in News and Information journalism and plan on receiving a minor in French and possibly nutrition too. In addition to HerCampus, I am also involved in Backdrop Magazine. My favorite place on Court Street is either Brenen’s or Court Street Coffee– both have delicious items on their menus! In my free time, I like to watch Netflix, browse Pinterest, blog (www.emacscorner.blogspot.com), hang with friends, work out, and listen to music. You can always find me looking for new ideas for hair and makeup to try as well. My motto in life is “if you can dream it, you can do it!”

Emily Daffron
Hey I’m Emily and I’m a sophomore here at OU (oh yeah!) I love coffee, reading, and people watching. I’m definitely a dessert foodie, if one were to exist. Snow is my favorite and you can bet the holiday season is too! I hope to someday write for a magazine and maybe play with design (can I throw some French in there too?) I’m super shy at first but I promise to open up! I hope you enjoy everything we’ve done for HerCampus Ohio U this semester, be sure to come back in the spring!
Emily Barber
Freshman, class of 2017 from Cleveland. Involved with HCOU, PRSSA, and an employee at Boyd dining hall. My favorite thing about OU is the opportunities. I’ve already learned so much through the Scripps Jschool, and PRSSA has provided a ton of networking opportunities. I’m also really happy I chose to be in a learning community this year, it’s helped me get accustomed to college life and find some of my best friends. I chose OU because Scripps is awesome, I received a pretty good scholarship, and the campus is beautiful. Over break I plan to work at my job back home, spend time with friends, see ‘Catching Fire’ at least two more times, eat great food, and cuddle with my kitties!
Taylor Stano
I’m an avid movie-watcher. I am able to quote more movies than what is considered socially acceptable. I’m a dedicated Pinterest pinner. Instead of pinning hundreds of wedding related pins, I would much rather pin food and puppies. I’m surprisingly an outdoor enthusiast. I love being outside and absorbing any ounce of sunshine I get in Ohio. I’m a Cleveland sports fan for life since I grew up in a town that is only one hour south of the city that rocks. The five things I cannot live without are my family, friends, God, Ohio University, and Schmidt from the TV show New Girl.

Freshman journalism major on the news and information track. Writer and Editor at Her Campus Ohio U. I love writing for Her Campus Ohio U! I chose OU because of the journalism program and the scenery. I hope to write and edit for a magazine after graduation. I love free stuff, discovering new things, and having a good time.
