Coolville middle school girls pick out kale and fruit to put into their smoothies and learn about the nutritious benefits of the ingredients at Girlpower Palooza on Wed., Sept. 16. The after-school event put on my Athens County Children Services held various workshops that informed girls about what it means to be strong women, the imporantance of eating right and exercising regularly, and expressing creativity through art.
