From November 8th to November 10th, Dads will be flocking to Ohio University for Dads weekend! Here are some fun events for bobcats to do with their fathers!
On Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, watch the Bobcats hockey team face off against the Indiana Hoosiers at Bird Arena! Bobcat Basketball also kicks off against Northern Iowa at 2:00 pm in the Convocation Center. Even if you aren’t into sports, your dad will appreciate you for giving it a try, and maybe you will even change your mind!
The weekend also offers a lot of opportunities to get active with your Dad! Head to the Ridges on Saturday or Sunday for a zip lining adventure! On Sunday, the famous Color Run is coming to Athens! The Color Run is a 5k walk or run in which participants wear white clothing and are doused in colors. It is a great way to have fun and get fit with your father!
If your dad is more of the creative or intellectual type, there are other fun events for you to attend! Nick Offerman, known for being the hilarious Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation, will be preforming his comedy routine on Saturday at 8:00 pm in the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. Sunday morning, before you see your dad off, make sure to attend Brunch with the Beatles, where you can listen to your favorite Beatles tunes with some food and drinks.
