The Best 5 Minute Snacks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Ohio U chapter.

Trying to eat healthy in college is so hard! Whatever you snack is (whether it’s free pizza or you have to eat ice cream after a hard day), limited time should not be a factor in eating unhealthy. So, no matter how busy you are, you can make these easy (and yummy) seven snacks in five minutes or less.

1. Apples and Peanut Butter

Protein and fruit. Need I say more?

2. Ramen

So, Ramen by itself isn’t really healthy so much that it’s not unhealthy. But, check out the fun recipes above to see how you can make it healthy! (authors note: only use half a packet of flavoring. It’s lower sodium.)

3. Granola Bars

Just stay away from the granola bars with chocolate.

4. Sandwich

Obviously, this is what you make of it. Check out the link above to get some healthy ideas!

5. Chips and Salsa

Cheap and easy. What is wrong with this idea?

6. Salad

Duh.

7. Black coffee or tea

This is more a “am I hungry or bored” snack. If you’re just bored, having an action to do will be great. If you’re still hungry afterwards, be sure to still eat!
