12 Beauty Products Benefiting Breast Cancer Research

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual month that aims to raise awareness  about the breast cancer. Lately, beauty products of all kinds have joined in “pink” movement to raise awareness and support by donating a sum of money with each purchase during the month of October. Look below to find how your favorite beauty must-haves are benefiting breast cancer research across the country. Which of these products do you use?

1. OPI Nail Polish

OPI has created a new polish each year to raise awareness for breast cancer. OPI donates $25,000 each year to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

 

2. Aveda

A limited edition Aveda Hand Relief™ with Shampure™ Aroma ($26) donates $4 from every purchase up to $305,000. Aveda has been partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) since 2001.

 

3. Smashbox

Be Legendary Lip Gloss in Promise shines your lips while acting as a ray of hope for those fighting and surviving cancer. Smashbox donates $5 from every $20 purchase. The gloss is available from now until November 30, 2014.

 

4. Perfumania

Pink Packaged Women Fragrances are available in the month of October with a few dollars of each great smelling purchase going towards the BCRF.

 

5. Bobbi Brown

The Pretty Pink Ribbon Lip Gloss Collection is sold to benefit the BCRF with $12 going towards the cause for every $60 purchase. They have been partnered with the BCRF since 2000 and have made a total contribution of $486,512.

 

6. Conair

The Power of Pink Collection by Conair is sold between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31 with a $110,000 donation annually, regardless of the sales. Conair has been donating to breast cancer research since 2003.

 

7. Sephora

Our favorite beauty store sells Together in Pink hair ties and The Beauty of Giving Back face palette with $2 of each purchase going towards the BCRF. Sephora is in its second year of partnership.

 

8. Planet Fitness

The “Judgment Free Zone” known as Planet Fitness hosts a Planet Goes Pink promotion in May, with a $10,000 minimum donation. They have specific cardio machines decorated to donate $1 per mile completed.

 

9. bumble & bumble

b & b’s pret-a powder is a trio of dry shampoo, style, and volume extender currently being sold with a limited edition pink cap, donating $5 of every $26 purchase since 2006. They have made a total contribution so far of $222,869.

 

10. Clinique

Clinique’s charity line includes a Pink with a Purpose long lasting lipstick and a Dramatically Different Moisturizer, donating $3 – $10 from every $16 – $38 purchase. They have been partnered for 20 years now, contributing over $8.5 million.

 

11. Ulta

Kiss® Pink Products at Ulta give 50% of the purchase price to the BCRF. The products are available from Oct. 1 – Oct. 31 and they have been in partnership since 2009.

 

12. Tom Ford Beauty

Tom Ford donates a sum of $50,000, no matter the sales. This is their second year in partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
