Is this a date? Or an interview?By April 14, 2013 - 12:05pm Smooth your dress, check your make-up, and stand straight. You have all the right qualities, and now you just need to get this other person to realize you are the best choice for this position. Even as I type this, I'm not sure whether I am talking about a date, or an interview. Nowadays, is there really a difference? After going through several websites, trying to see the similarities and differences between interviews, and dating, well I admit it was hard to separate the both. READ MORE |

Study Abroad Diaries: Second Half of the Semester BeginsBy April 14, 2013 - 11:25am It is a well-accepted fact that the second half of the semester is bound to be more hectic than the first, no matter where you study. Looking at my schedule in May, I realize I better enjoy and take advantage of this ‘calmer’ month before I become chained to my desk. So, London, these next three weeks are probably going to be the best ones we ever spend together.... |

This Is Nationals!By April 1, 2013 - 8:29am All throughout the basketball season, four groups have been there at every game to cheer on the NYU men and women’s teams. The Cheerleaders cheer from the sides and stunt during the timeouts while the Pep Band plays. The Dance Team performs at half time and the Bobcat works the crowd. While these teams spend the majority of their season supporting the Violets and entertaining fans, their time in the main spotlight is fast approaching. READ MORE |

Spring Trends For LessBy March 30, 2013 - 5:10pm Although it may not feel like it, spring is officially here and it’s time to start exchanging your pea coats and earmuffs for sundresses and capri pants. Study Abroad Diaries: We’re (almost) halfway there!By March 15, 2013 - 10:33am I am in the middle of midterm season, which means little sightseeing and a lot of reading and writing papers. I am eager to write one of my semester-long research papers, which includes investigating the role of social class in British society. One thing I have noticed while being in London is how British natives seemed to be obsessed with identifying and classifying everyone. Even saying the word “bathroom” in different ways can be an indication of your class, according to one of my professors--toilet (lower) loo (middle) and washroom or lavatory (upper). READ MORE |
