As most of us are running out of our student loans, at this time of the year it’s always nice to whack on a stylish outfit to make us feel better. Birthdays and Christmas are great for getting good quality items, that will last, and that are usually out of our price range. Rachel has done this wonderfully with her outfit above. Her Kurt Geiger boots look fabulous matched with her bright red coat. Although Kurt Geiger is quite expensive they usually do a lot of good sales which can sometimes be up to 60% off!! (Can I get a “hell yeah!”)  And when you spend most of the year in Primark sometimes it’s nice to splash out a bit on something a bit more high market.

Rachel has contrasted the black shoes and tights with a bright red coat, which is always nice to see when most of the days are so muggy and dark. The coat is from Dorothy Perkins, and has a wonderful double button detail. Combined with the lapels on her sleeves and the buckles on her boots it gives the outfit a nice military feel.

Rachel’s stylish outfit is topped off with a gorgeous silk vintage scarf. Sadly as it is vintage she doesn’t know where the scarf is from, but most good vintage stores should have a good scarf section. Thankfully most of them are quite cheap, so you can buy a gorgeous scarf without breaking the bank.
