This week Campus style took to the slopes to try and find some stylish outfits. Whilst you may spend more of your time styling your Aprés ski outfits, it’s also important to try and style up your outfits for the piste. This young woman has done it marvellously. Her yellow silk tutu is a wonderful contrast to her pink ballet leotard. It’s an impressive outfit because not only has she contrasted the two colours she has impressively contrasted the two fabrics. The matt leotard makes the shine of the tutu stand out even more and draws us in. Very impressive. Our only hesitation is the length of the tutu, which could give an interesting view to anyone up on the Piste. Our advice? When doing sports always pick a longer skirt to avoid the ever embarrassing knicker flash.
Sadly the styling ends there as she hasn’t managed to find matching boots. Unfortunately her boots are a depressing black and dark blue, which do not work with the vivid colours of her outfit. Does the shop she hired these from not care about fashion? Sadly she loses points for this lack of coordination with her footwear. However she more than makes up for it with her dedication to fashion in the cold. She must have been freezing but carried on like the trooper she is. (With a little help from a flask of Génépi I am sure) A true star of the Alpes. Trés bien.
